Sci-Fi has released the trailer for the upcoming Caprica movie, which will set up the Battelstar Galactica prequel series.
I think it looks tremendous. Since the beginning, I’ve wondered about the birth and evolution of the cylons. Now, we get the answer not in an episode or a quick storyline, but as a whole new series. It’s going to be great.
A tantalizing first look at the key characters from JJ Abram blockbuster-in-the-making, Star Trek. TrekMovie.com has a set of four new posters up cool enough to tantalize any Trek fan. Looking at these images from Entertainment Weekly, it’s easy to see that Quinto is a dead-on Spock, which is awesome. His uniform collar looks VERY TOS too, which is great. In addition, Pine looks to be a brass, cocky young James T. Kirk full of piss and vinegar. Cool! Head on over to check out the other two posters and get the skinny on Star Trek The Movie coming next year. These fans can’t wait!
Hat tip to Dave Brasgalla for this post.
You’re losers. So say we all!
Hey BSG fans. Are you missing Grace Park as much as I am? Then check out A&E’s The Cleaner. The show might be a dud, but at least we can see Grace running around.
Designer Matt Davey has posted several high resolution desktop pictures (or wallpapers to you PC people) from Battlestar Galactica over at MacThemes.net. Matt says they were created from Bluray DVD’s as well as officially released Galactica promotional material. These images definitely make a great addition to any fan’s computer desktop. The image of the Colonial Viper is especially killer. Check it out.
Good news, everyone, it’s the Futurama episode! Ged and Dave discuss the new direct-to-DVD Futurama movie, The Beast With A Billion Backs, as well as everything they love about the show (Dave even convinces Ged to make a Hedonismbot icon!).

Is it me, or does this look like a younger William B. Davis? Taken from the X-Files promotional widget.

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that final production on the Sci-Fi Channel’s Battlestar Galactica series wrapped in Vancouver this week. But while the television series ends in early 2009, rumors have spread about the possibility of at least three new TV movies which are already in the works. While this may seem like a logical extension of the popular program, the Times reports that none of the regulars from the series have been contact yet about appearing in the dramas.
Actress Grace Park also gives a tantalizing clue about how the series wraps up - “There’s one episode where everything is explained and I had to read it three times,” Park said. “I had to sit down with [executive producer] Ron Moore and he had to break it down.”
It’s definitely sounds like fans will get the majority of their questions answered. Thank gods.
